Fun Fact: A Pink Building | Travel Photography

The Capitol Building in Texas is pink. I am told this is because the people building it wanted it to be made out of a stone native to Texas and their first choice had a high iron content that caused it to discolor. Second choice: pink granite that happened to be offered up for free. Fun fact.
